TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

See School Board Rules 7530, 7540, and 7540.02 for more information on liability, privacy,

And appropriate use.

 

1.                    Acceptable Use: Use of equipment must align with the educational goals and policies of

the District.  Acceptable use includes: educational research, enhancement of instruction,

training, and other school-related business.  The equipment should be used only by the

employee to whom it was issued.

 

2.                    Privileges: Receiving a District-owned asset is a privilege, not a right.  Inappropriate use

will result in the surrender of the item.  Each employee who receives District property will

receive information and training pertaining to the proper use and care of the equipment.

 

3.                    Responsibility: By accepting this equipment from the District, employee agrees to keep

the item in his/her possession or securing the item when not in use.  District  property

should not be loaned out to others, including family members,  It is the employee’s

responsibility to safeguard the equipment from inappropriate use.

 

4.                    Warranties: The District will not be responsible for any damages the employee may

suffer, including loss of data.
