Whenever personnel take equipment home, it is important that
this is documented and that signed receipt is obtained. Only
property custodians (principals/department supervisors) can approve
any equipment leaving their location. All documents pertaining
to equipment on loan should be maintained in a file for audit
purposes.
By School Board rule, equipment owned by the district may be
borrowed for non-school use only if the use of the equipment is
by a non-profit group and the equipment is not to be used for
fund raising.

form (Form #335) is completed for all property loaned from the
school/department site, such as:
Equipment loaned to employees
Equipment loaned to other schools/departments
Equipment loaned to a special need student (E.S.E.)
Equipment loaned to non-school agencies
Equipment loaned to students participating in special activities
A Musical Instrument Loan Agreement (Form #333) shall be completed
for each band student borrowing School Board equipment.
