To insure complete, accurate, and timely accounting
and reporting of all missing or damaged property following

|
Notify Risk Management, the Assistant Superintendent,
the Superintendent, and the Property Management Specialist
immediately upon discovery of theft or damage. |

|
Complete a Stolen or Damaged Equipment Form,
(Form #335), in detail, immediately after notification. The
form must be signed by the principal or department supervisor
and it must be accompanied by a police report. |

|
Distribute form with police report to Risk
Management, and the Property Management Specialist. |
| Property Mgmt Specialist |
|
Run an inventory report for the entire site,
including all buildings, and or forward it to the Property
Custodian upon receipt of notification of a break-in vandalism. |

|
Perform a complete inventory immediately upon
receipt of the inventory report. |
| |
|
Reconciled any discrepancies in the inventory
record and actual physical inventory with the police report
immediately upon completion of the inventory. |
| |
|
If necessary, a revised police report must
be requested to address any discrepancies between the original
list of stolen equipment and physical inventory. |
| |
|
If discrepancies are discovered, file an amended
form #335 with the amended police report and distribute it
to Risk Management, and the Property Management Specialist. |
